The AE Ceramics Gallery, located in the historic village of Yarmouth, Maine, allows Alison to show new, one of a kind and experimental pieces to her customers before bringing the designs to market.
The Gallery is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:30-5:30 and some weekends.

Alison at her East Boothbay, Maine studio
Artist Alison Evans transforms the natural shapes of coastal life into dinnerware and tabletop accessories. Her work is hand molded and hand glazed, making each piece unique. Alison graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design and worked for admired artist Katy Schimert in New York before opening her first studio in East Boothbay, Maine. Over the past ten years, AE Ceramics has grown thanks to partnerships with retail store around the US, England, Canada, Australia and the Virgin Islands. The AE Ceramics Gallery is now located in the historic village of Yarmouth, Maine, where Alison’s husband Chris handles business fundamentals and she focuses on design.
Chris at work
Chris is Alison’s husband and Super Star support man. He manages the studio and sales, utilizing experience gained while managing his own family business. He also oversees facility maintenance, which includes keeping the kilns firing and the press running!
Tony at work
Anthony transitioned from the restaurant industry to the art world and brought his enthusiasm with him. Organized and supportive, Anthony loves living and working on the coast of Maine with us, his good friends.

Alison and Chris’s daughter, Shea, is an A+ cheerleader and mood enhancer around the gallery and studio.
